I have stayed at a number of hotels and BnBs in Dawson in my 13 years of travel there and, until this trip always on business. few places can match the impeccable attention to detail, cleanliness, and friendliness of staff that is the Aurora. Carolyn or Bruno always gave the best of service and their time and advice. I hope the new partners follow their example.

Staying at the Dawson City Inn was a good experience. The charming Victorian-style decorations added great character, transporting me back to the gold rush days. Although the lack of air conditioning made it a bit warm, the fans were sufficient. I enjoyed my visit .

The servie was very friendly and the facilites good. In particular the food was very good, both the excellent full (meat & chese) continental breakfast and diner in the attached Swiss restaurant.
Unfortunately no hotels in Dawson City have air conditioned bedrooms, which can make sleeping difficult in the summer heat, as we experienced on a pevious stay. However, this time in Spetmeber there were no problems.

More seating areas for seniors would be nice.

Clean, comfortable, quiet location, good Internet access
Would have liked to know that coffee was available to customers sooner-no handout about hotel amenities was given.

Cozy stay in a lively spot
We spent 2 nights here and really enjoyed the friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was a hit with our kiddos, and we loved soaking up the sun on the upstairs patio. Only a few power outlets in the room made charging our devices tricky.

The location of Holland America Dawson City Inn stands out. Just a short walk to the city center made exploring super easy. The room had great blinds, great for a good night's sleep. Comfortable mattress felt inviting after long days out. The lobby looked nice, and I appreciated the well-maintained common areas. Power outlets in the room were limited was nice. Parking was a bit of a walk from the room, which wasn't ideal with luggage. A little more thought into room location during check-in would help. Lastly, internet access was only available in the main lobby, so I had to go down to check my emails.
